Science For Home Schoolers
Home Schoolers get to read a lot about Science but seldom get to do Science. They also get to go on a number of field trips and also get to participate in science fairs but they never get to integrate their science knowledge with the methodology which goes with doing science.
The Hands on Science Workshops that the Institute offers can more than adequately fill this gap. These workshops are based on 150 concepts and skills that scientists use to do science which Dr. R. Haque of the University of Illinois Chicago, who serendipitously discovered this curriculum, calls the "Rules and the Tools of Science."
To obtain further information on these workshops as well as how to register for these workshops, go to Current and Ongoing Programs.
